Loading data for financial reporting

From the Load Data tab of the Financial Reporting page, you can load data files imported from the General Ledger (GL) into the reporting system.

After loading the GL data, you can:

• Change account information

• Change department information

• Add temporary adjustments to the GL data in the system before the month end closes

• Update tax rates

• Update YTD earning settings

When importing data from your organization's GL system, Axiom generates a GL reporting table that includes the base structure used by the system's standard utilities and reports.

We recommend that you review the following file specifications to prepare your data before import so that it loads into the system as cleanly and successfully as possible:

• GL summary data specifications
• GL transaction data file specifications
• GL daily data file specifications

NOTE: The GL Daily Data import will automatically populate weekends and holidays with the balance from the previous business day.

TIP: You can use Scheduler to set up a job to automate the GL Daily Data import.

To load data for financial reporting: 

1. From the Command Center home page, click the Financial Reporting link. Or, click the arrow to expand the Financial Reporting section and then click Load Data.
2. On the Financial Reporting page, click Load Data.
3. In the Select file to load column of any table row, select a file from the drop-down list.
4. In the Load Data column of the same row, click Load.

TIP: To load all currently selected files, click Load All.
